Covid 19 - Emergency Grant

Lions Club of Georgia received Emergency Grant in the amount of 10.000 USD from Lions Clubs International Foundation. Money was spent for purchasing Personal Protection Equipment(PPEs) for the COVID-19 hospitals and medical facilities in two regions of Georgia. This action was performed within the framework of fighting coronavirus pandemic campaign under the conditions of state emergency. 

West Georgia was distributed to the 1.Hospital in Kutaisi 2. Kutaisi Tuberculosis and Communicable Diseases Center 3. Kutaisi IDP Medical Center “Bichvinta” received medical supplies. This humanitarian event was jointly conducted by Kutaici City Hall and Kutaisi LIONs Club. 4. Humanitarian assistance was also rendered to Tskaltubo City Municipality public health center. This humanitarian event was jointly conducted by Tskaltubo City Hall and Tskaltubo LIONs Club 

East Georgia Gori Hospital This humanitarian event was jointly conducted by Gori City Hall and Gori LIONs Club. 

Tbilisi Lions Club, endocrinologists and young ophthalmologist Lions Clubs were involved in the activity. You can watch video, which was broadcasted on local TV`s and also, Governmental channel. Information is posted on Kutaisi Municipality website. Later this information was aired by TV-Rioni and also covered in the local newspaper. 

Tbilisi Lions Club donated 900 (GEL) and provide of Transportation to several Regions.
